INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE - PRAYING FOR A CURE FOR BREAST CANCER
A while back we were asked to review and comment on a "book/CD in publication" An Instrument of Peace by Sister Malinda Gerke, FSPA. about stories of healing, comfort and consolations through the music of a harp & esp. how sister TAUGHT herself to play now inspiring many through her ministry. We did and then sent back our review comments. A short time later we received a complimentary copy of the book with a 'spiritual Thank You" note from Sister Malinda and a copy of the published book, noting that our comments were posted on the back side HERE.
"Sister Wendy is known as the "Art Nun." Sister Malinda will be known as the "Harp Nun" with the release of this powerful book of healing stories and accompanying CD. I will put the CD music in my IPOD and carry the small book and IPOD with me as I shepherd my tiny flock of sheep here at Shepherd Too in Amish land. David's harp music was the only thing that cheered King Saul, Sister Malinda's stories and harp music will cheer us all."
A few days later Megan received a notice, "You have Breast Cancer."
Sister Malinda added Megan to their Perpetual Adoration Prayers and they operated on Megan and when the surgeon returned, "I think I got it ALL. God Bless Megan."
Megan is checked on schedule and 'to date' is still Cancer Free.
Sister Malinda's ministry has INSPIRED me to PRAY MORE 'THROUGH learning to "now play a guitar/vocal " JUST LIKE SHE DID IN LATER YEARS TO ADD TO OUR OWN MINISTRY OUT HERE AT SHEPHERDTOO - PRAYING FOR A CURE FOR BREAST CANCER.
." ..MUSIC is a good way to PRAY MORE- RAY," she instructs..
THEREFORE I CREATED a new link PRAYING FOR A BREAST CANCER CURE link TO CONSTANTLY UPDATE OUR PROGRESS AND PRAYING FOR A CURE HERE.
PLEASE VISIT US OFTEN TO SEE HOW OUR LEARNING GUITAR/VOCALS IS GOING AND WE ARE DOING IN OUR PRAYING AND LET US ALL PRAY IN OUR OWN WAYS FOR A CURE FOR BREAST CANCER...SOON....
TILL THEN EARLY DETECTION IS A MUST DEFENSE....
HELP CHARLIE DO IT
Charlie is our Cavalier King Charles who is an inspiration to so many he touches.
My dog Charlie I try to also help the less fortunate animals in this world on the WWW-the unwanted. We cannot help all but we "Start by doing what is necessary+" and search the Pet finder web site (listed below) for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who need a "Forever Home." Then we attach the page of the abandoned dog to a Rescue email and send to a regional Cavalier Rescue group. And their overall responses could fill another book of stories.
If you want to help Charlie "do the Impossible too", click to this web site and start your "search and rescue" mission for what ever breed of dog or pet of your choice..there are just so many seeking a "Forever Home..."
To help Charlie "Do It Click" tab to this web site and start your own "Search and Rescue" program here.

HELP TO SAVE THE LADY GOULDIAN FINCH
The Lady Gouldian Finch has been on the endangered species list since 1960 in Australia and we have posted "The Canticle of the Creatures" intention for them here on this special web page, whereby St. Francis implored God: "All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures." The Gouldian Finch, Chloebia gouldiae, is one of the most vividly colorful birds on earth. Its native habitat is the northern region of Australia. They (like the Eastern Bluebird was and that our NW Habitat is built to help) is endanger of extinction with the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage who once estimated that their wild Gouldian Finch population to be approximately 2500 mature birds? Exportation of Australian finches was banned in 1960. Gracefully they are being bred in captivity by many Gouldian lovers. When Megan tested for Breast Cancer they told us to get a Hobby so we joined the Save the Gouldian campaign and have added an indoor aviary for them naming many of our birds after St. Francis and his early followers in a special tribute to all. The Australian web site to help save them is listed here.
